Life in Motion: Tracking the Alewife Migration
Project type
Videography, Photography
Date
May 2025
Location
Maine
In partnership with Presumpscot Regional Land Trust, we produced a video and photo series documenting the hands-on conservation efforts of local high school students in Westbrook. The project followed youth volunteers as they assisted with the annual alewife migration count and performed critical trail maintenance, highlighting both ecological stewardship and community involvement.
This content serves multiple strategic purposes: promoting the Land Trust’s mission, showcasing the tangible impacts of its programming, and supporting ongoing fundraising efforts. By centering youth voices and authentic fieldwork, the final deliverables are designed to inspire donor support, attract new volunteers, and strengthen community pride in local land and waterway conservation efforts.
Deliverables include a short-form documentary video, social media-ready reels and clips, and a curated photo library for digital and print use.
