In Her Presence: A Night of Strength and Storytelling

Navigating a new country, culture, and economic system presents immense challenges, yet immigrant women bring incredible strength, talent, and leadership to local communities. In Her Presence was founded in Maine to empower immigrant women through transformative career development, language skill building, and personal growth programs.

Strega Studios partnered with the organization and co-director James Helms to craft a powerful impact film for their major fundraising campaign.

Capturing the heart of a community-driven organization requires a deeply respectful, human-first storytelling approach. In Her Presence needed a visual centerpiece that honored the lived experiences of the women they serve while clearly demonstrating the real-world impact of their programs to local donors and community leaders.

We took an organic, documentary-style approach that put the women of In Her Presence front and center. By capturing intimate, authentic conversations alongside candid glimpses into their programs and leadership workshops, we created a video that resonated on a deeply emotional level.

The resulting film served as the core anchor asset for their campaign, galvanizing donor support and helping In Her Presence exceed their $125,000 fundraising goal to expand their vital work across Maine.
